CHHS Uniform Policy

The Castle Hill High School uniform is available from the School Uniform Shop. Contact Manager, Mrs Pritchard on 9634 4199. School Uniform Shop is open Monday and Friday 8:30-11:30am.

All male and female students should wear:

  • Black hard leather lace up shoes cut below the ankle to conform with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Plain short white socks showing above the ankle or black or navy stockings.
  • School wool blend jumper with school crest and/or wool blend vest and/or school blazer.

Junior Boys

  • Shorts: Grey Scaggs elastic or belt loops
  • Trousers: Grey Scaggs elastic or belt loops
  • Shirts: Poly cotton button through - School logo pocket

Junior Girls

  • Summer: Blue and white dropped waist dress - Terms 1 and 4
  • Winter: Royal Blue pleated skirt - Terms 2 and 3
  • White princess line blouse - School logo

Senior Boys

  • Trousers: Navy blue belt loop trousers with belt or navy blue shorts - belt loops. No elastic waists
  • Shirts: Poly cotton button through - School logo pocket School tie

Senior Girls

  • Pleated check design skirt
  • White princess line blouse - School logo

Sports Uniform

  • Boys and Girls
  • Castle Hill High School sports shirt
  • Castle Hill High School navy blue shorts
  • Sports shoes with white socks

Items not to be included in the uniform

  • NO colour t-shirts worn under the school shirt
  • NO sandals, joggers, thongs, boots, slip-ons or suede shoes
  • NO socks with logos, decoration or colour

Notes on wearing the uniform

  • Jewellery should be restricted to watches and plain silver or gold chains, one plain ring.
  • Students with pierced ears may wear small plain sleepers or stud earrings. Long dangling earrings are considered dangerous for school purposes.
  • Make-up or coloured nail polish is inappropriate with a uniform.
  • Students wearing thongs, open type sandals, or canvas type shoes and/or gym boots are to be excluded from practical lessons where there is the possibility of injury through spillage of liquids, metal, or the dropping of heavy sharp instruments, tools etc.

Students must wear school uniform items only. Students must have a note from home for being out of uniform.
