Attendance concerns

The Department of Education requires a minimum of 85% attendance.

Attendance concerns will be addressed by the school by one of the following:

  • a phone call or a letter of concern may be sent
  • parents/caregivers may be called to the school for an interview
  • Home School Liaison Officer (HSLO) may be called in to investigate and/or visit the home where attendance is a problem
  • for students in receipt of Youth Allowance, an Education Liaison Officer from Centrelink may investigate

Castle Hill High School acknowledges the tradition custodians of the land of Castle Hill, the Darug people. The Castle Hill region was home to the Bidjigal clan of the Darug people, which means 'plains-dweller' in the Darug language. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to all Aboriginal people.
