The Castle Hill High School uniform is available from the school uniform shop which operates under the management of the Parents & Citizens Association and the Manager, Mrs Pritchard can be contacted on 9634 4199. The school Uniform Shop is open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:15-11:30am during school term and additional days during peak times. Uniforms can also be purchased via the online shop (https://chhspc.myshopify.com/) for pick up during our opening hours.
The summer uniform is worn in terms 1 and 4 and the winter uniform is worn in terms 2 and 3.
All male and female students should wear:
- Black hard leather lace up shoes cut below the ankle to conform with Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
- Plain short white socks showing above the ankle or black stockings.
- School jumper or jacket with school crest and/or school blazer.
Junior Boys
- Grey elastic waist shorts - Terms 1 and 4
- Grey elastic waist trousers - Terms 2 and 3
- Poly cotton button through shirts with the school logo on the pocket - All year
Junior Girls
- Blue and white dropped waist dress - Terms 1 and 4
- Navy shorts (with the white school blouse) - Terms 1 and 4

Further to our consultation conducted in 2023 with parents, community, teachers, staff and SRC, there was an overwhelming response to phase out the junior girls dress worn in terms 1 and 4.
There is NO change to our uniform policy for 2024. The junior girls dress will continue to be worn in terms 1 and 4 this year.
In 2025, junior girls will have the option to wear either the dress or blouse with a skirt/shorts/pants in terms 1 and 4.
From 2026, junior girls will wear the blouse with a skirt/shorts/pants all year round.
There is no additional cost of uniforms for female students as the blouse and skirt/shorts/pants are already worn in terms 2 and 3.

- NO sandals, joggers, thongs, boots, slip-ons or suede shoes

Notes on wearing the uniform
- Jewellery should be restricted to watches and plain silver or gold chains, one plain ring.
- Students with pierced ears may wear small plain sleepers or stud earrings. Long dangling earrings are considered dangerous for school purposes.
- Make-up or coloured nail polish is inappropriate with a uniform.
- Students wearing thongs, open type sandals, or canvas type shoes and/or gym boots are to be excluded from practical lessons where there is the possibility of injury through spillage of liquids, metal, or the dropping of heavy sharp instruments, tools etc.
Students must wear school uniform items only. Students must have a note from home for being out of uniform.
